Short-notice requests are welcome, and our 24/7 line means you can reach us during the event.
Staff are SIA-licensed for the roles they perform. Door supervisors are supplied wherever the premises or event are licensed for alcohol or regulated entertainment, and the team is briefed on emergency and evacuation procedures before the event.

Guarding licensed premises against damage, disorder or unauthorised entry needs an SIA door supervision licence, whether staff are in-house or contracted.

The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 is expected in spring 2027. Qualifying events and venues for 800 or more people face enhanced duties; 200 to 799, the standard tier.

How many security staff do I need for an event?
There is no single ratio. It depends on attendance, the venue, alcohol, the type of event and the licence conditions. We look at your plan and the venue and recommend numbers, and the local authority or venue may also set requirements.
Do event security staff need an SIA licence?
Staff guarding licensed premises need a door supervision licence. Other contracted security roles need the relevant licence. Stewards who only direct and assist the public, with no security duties, do not.
Does Martyn’s Law apply to my event?
It may, if the event is open to the public, has 800 or more people present at the same time and meets the Act’s other conditions. The Act is expected to come into force in spring 2027; the SIA, as regulator, publishes guidance on who is in scope.
